How and when did you first find out about your 'psychic abilities'?
When I first found out, I was seven years old. I was playing with other children, and I noticed a mist around one of them. So when I went home, I asked my mother about it, and that's when she first explained to me the ability that runs in our family, and how sometimes it manifests as seeing or hearing strange things that seem out of place. She told me as I grow it will become stronger and I would gain more control and understanding, and that she would help me.


How was it growing up with these special skills. Are they natural talents or did you study and develop them?
It was unusual, to say the least. It sets you apart from everyone. You feel very different and that is a hard thing for any child to deal with. As a younger child, my friends thought it was cool because it seemed magical. There were mean remarks from peers as a preteen, kids can be mean at that age. As a teenager it became fun again because I had understanding friends, and when we would get together I would read for them. In my later teenage years is when I started to study to gain knowledge to help supplement my natural ability.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?
I can't speak for everyone. But I do believe many people are born with or develop a connection to the psychic realm. Some are afraid and hide away their feelings or abilities, which ensures that nothing develops any further. But if you are open-minded and have guidance than anything is possible. Every person is different.


What type of mentality do you think it takes to develop these skills?
I already mentioned an open-mindedness. But also you need a strong will, discipline, and a conscience. Strong abilities can get very overwhelming and you have to be able to control it. I would say you also have to have patience and understanding are also vital qualities if you plan to help people with your gifts.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities 'on' or 'off' when you want to? Do you have any rituals to turn them 'on'. I am easily able to close myself off and shut my abilities down when I need peace. I find this to be a necessary skill, otherwise I would be stretched too thin. There is no ritual I use to turn them "on", but when I know I am going to do readings, I "let down my walls" so to speak and it all comes rushing back.

How did you get into doing psychic readings? My grandmother and mother would do readings. I watched and learned from them. I knew from a very young age what they did, but I didn't understand the specifics of it until I started hearing and seeing things for myself. they were always honest but they were also very compassionate. When I was 15 they decided I was ready to give readings myself. My grandmother watched over me for the first year, and would advise me.

What happens during a psychic reading? During a psychic reading you need to form a connection with the person you are reading for. In rare cases, this doesn't happen, and in that case I will be honest and suggest a different reader. but when the connection is established, it is amazing for both of us involved. I make an effort to truly listen, and to provide information that is useful to the client. I do not want to waste anyone's time. I am here to provide truth, advice, comfort- whatever is needed.

What is your primary tool for divination? What is your specialty? My primary tool would be my own natural psychic ability. I will usually back that up by reading tarot cards simultaneously. This helps to channel my energy, as well as give additional information. I will also use rune stones on occasion. My specialty areas I would consider to be relationships (love, family) and guidance (career, life path, purpose, etc.).

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on? No, I have never been able to communicate with spirits that have passed on.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about your abilities or a good experience?
My psychic ability is humbling. The past 40 years of helping people find love, happiness, and stability in all areas of their lives has been amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything. One story that that I always remember is a woman who came to me concerned about the health of her sister. I told her the problem was in her lungs and she needed to get real medical attention, but that she would be ok in the end. 3 weeks later she came back and told me her lung had collapsed but they were able to save her.
