How and when did you first find out about your 'psychic abilities'?
As long as I can remember I have 'known' things others didn't. I realized it was psychic ability as a young girl.

How was it growing up with these special skills?
My talent, I feel, was natural. My mother and grandmother were psychic as well. I grew up around intuition. I did study Tarot and other metaphysical areas later in my life. At first it frightened me, as I felt I could see what others were feeling/thinking. I was young, and had no idea how to process the information. I am still learning the best avenues for protecting my energy from negativity. This has been one of my biggest challenges.


Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?
Yes, but I feel some are more natural than others. Anyone can play baseball, but few are 'naturals'. The person may hone skills, but will they ever be as good at the sport as someone with the innate talent? Spirit is the 'breath of life', I feel it is in everyone, from our first breath at birth.


What type of mentality do you think it takes to develop these skills?
I see empathy and sensitivity as very important in reading others. I feel having the ability to suspend all judgment and to be able to quell 'logic' is important as well. I do not automatically assume anything, I look to spirit for answers, as sometimes things are not as they appear to be. I also feel it is important to remember that everyone is different, and so therefore, each situation is unique. I also feel a great responsibility to present only what I get, and to keep my human ego, and mind out of the reading.


Are you able to turn your psychic abilities 'on' or 'off' when you want to? Do you have any rituals to turn them 'on'?
I am never able to turn the messages from spirit off, nor would I want to. I access prayer and meditation to clear myself. I do not use any rituals per se. I never do readings if my mind or body is ill or upset.


How did you get into doing psychic readings?
I started by telling friends and family messages from spirit. At about age 17 I started studying Tarot, I used tarot for many years in conjunction with my natural connection to spirit.


What happens during a psychic reading?
I concentrate on the person I am speaking with. I start the reading as to what I am receiving from spirit. I connect with my clients this way, and then usually they have questions that we address. Every reading is different, and trying to describe a reading is like describing an intimate event.


What is your primary tool for divination? What is your specialty?
I am clairvoyant , I use tarot if the client would like cards but I do not need them to access information. I am very confident with career and love issues and can read them well.


Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?
I am able to do so if these spirits want to talk, and if they are available. I am able to connect with deceased pets as well.


Is there anything else you'd like to share about your abilities or a good experience?
I had a female client in her early forties and I had been reading for her for about 8 months. Spirit kept showing me a man around her with an unusual name and a red 'race car'. Month after month the man did not appear, yet I kept seeing him. We were both getting frustrated. Finally, one day she called me joyous, she had met him! I will not divulge his name, but it was very unusual. The red 'race' car I kept seeing, was the Ferrari he drove! She ended up marrying him, and having a child I had been seeing as well, a little girl, although she was convinced she was too old to have children.

I was reading for a client on her way to NY city, she was leaving that evening. I told her I saw that she was not going to New York. She laughed and told me her flight was leaving in a few hours. I told her that was strange, because I saw a change of plans. I was seeing longhorn cattle of all things (I swear spirit has a sense of humor), Texas maybe? She told me she had family in Texas, but was not planning to go there until Christmas. I also told her the trip would be important to her love life, and that she would meet a man that was not her usual type. She left very cynical to say the least. I heard from her 2 days later, her Father in Texas had suffered a heart attack, and she had received the news before leaving for the airport. She changed her plans and flew to Texas. She would be staying there to help with his business.
About 2 months later she called to tell me she wanted to set up a reading, that she was in love! She became friends with a prominent man in the town near her Fathers ranch. They had begun dating, and it was turning serious. She had pictured herself with an investment banker, and was now in love with a land owning cowboy that was into city politics. Go figure!

Not all readings are so dramatic, but I feel spirit reveals what is needed. I present the information I get, nothing more, nothing less. If the information is not clear, I feel it is not time for it to be revealed. I tell all of my clients that it is their free will as to what they want to do. It is their choice. The free will lies in the choices we make. There are always choices. These examples also give me hope and assurance that there is something bigger than what we can see with our own eyes.
