How and when did you first find out about your 'psychic abilities'?
I was born into a large family that all had an unusual gift or power. My parents encouraged and supported these gifts.
How was it growing up with these special skills. Are they natural talents or did you study and develop them?
Although my parents were supportive, a strict religion and general public reaction made me cautious to display any abilities that did not reflect what others believed or wanted to see.
Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?
I believe everyone is psychic, but it's like singing; some do it a lot better than others. All skills can be honed by study.
What type of mentality do you think it takes to develop these skills?
The sincere desire and acceptance of your own divine power with the deep intention to harm none.
Are you able to turn your psychic abilities 'on' or 'off' when you want to? Do you have any rituals to turn them 'on'.
I am not much of a ritual person. I am not so sensitive that I can't be in a crowd without picking up on what is going on with others. I think this is an invasion of privacy. I choose to open up when I am asked and I consider it a great honor and privilege.
How did you get into doing psychic readings?
I began after a death of one of my brothers. As children, we had all planned to someday put our abilities together for a higher purpose. His death was my personal message that I needed to go forward. I opened my office that year - 24 years ago.
What happens during a psychic reading?
I am sure all readers have their own style. I like to start with asking what you most want to know. I stay within a 12-18 month time frame as far as future events go since I am a hopeless believer in prayers and miracles. I like to give as much information as I can or as fast as our Guides can deliver it to me. My readings are direct without fluff or hype.
What is your primary tool for divination? What is your specialty?
I love palmistry. It was the door to opening up my abilities again later in life. I use a pen and paper to doodle and write and sometimes use cards to keep me on track to simulate my own psychic abilities so I don't waste your time. I am a psychic and medium.
Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?
Yes. Not all psychics are mediums and I have only been using that term in the past three years. It is another tool that that often be used in a most practical way. For instance, Grandma has passed and no one knows where her wedding rings are so we ask her.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about your abilities or a good experience?
I like the late great Sylvia Browne's definition of spirits as people who have passed and have gone to the Light. Ghosts are those who have not gone to the Light for whatever reason. I love a good ghost story, but it is the thousands upon thousands of spirits who deliver the most healing of messages that make me love being the mystical postman.
