MY CODE OF ETHICS
You may always feel at ease knowing I faithfully follow former ATA President James Ricklef′s thoughtful Code of Ethics as found in his book Tarot Reading Explained and elsewhere in his works:
1. Confidentiality: I will not reveal what a client tells me without their written approval. I will hold all written and verbal communication with a client in confidence, except in the event of a life-threatening situation.
2. Honesty: I will interpret a reading to the best of my ability and will honestly admit when I cannot interpret something. I will always tell the truth, but not impose information on a client that they have clearly indicated that they do not wish to know or explore further in depth.
3. Nonjudgment: I will always provide readings with compassion and in a nonjudgmental manner.
4. Expertise: I will not give advice in areas for which I am not qualified. If the client needs a physician, psychologist, lawyer, financial advisor, accountant, or any other professional service for which I am not qualified, I will encourage him or her to seek such service from someone who is qualified in that area, and I will make appropriate referrals wherever possible.
5. Responsibility: My goal as a Tarot reader is to allow my clients to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions, which guide their lives, and to act according to their own conscience for the greater good of all concerned.
6. Empowerment: I will let my clients know that the future is never etched in stone and thus that they have the power to change their future! I will strive to help my clients leave a reading feeling empowered to make practical, life-affirming decisions.
7. Healing: I will allow myself to be a conduit through which the Universal Guide heals my clients’ spirit, mind, body, and environment based upon insights gained from a reading.
8. Uplift: I will strive to make each reading a blessing for everyone involved. I will be encouraging and endeavor to leave my clients with a sense of renewed strength and hope. Thus, I will try to make each reading, no matter how negative or ‶bad″ it might initially appear, end on a positive, encouraging note.
9. Independence: I will not let my clients become overly dependent upon my services, nor pressure them for return visits.
10. Payment: I will return any compensation for readings in accordance with the rules and policies of PsychicCenter. I reserve the right to refuse to read for any client.
11. Professional conduct:
· Since the future is always mutable, I never predict the inevitability of a personal death.
· Actually, I never predict the INEVITABILITY of anything, since divination is only a snapshot if nothing changes from how people's attitudes, situations, and outside influences are at the time of the reading.
· I never do readings to see what someone other than my client is doing or feeling.
· I always maintain an ethical and professional relationship with my clients.
· I always treat my professional colleagues with respect.
· I never refer clients to another professional reader in anticipation of acquiring kickbacks or other compensation.
· I never abuse a client′s trust and vulnerability for my own personal benefit.

Q. What kinds of romance questions can I ask?
A. New love, old love -- anything and everything is on the table! This includes things both exciting and happy, but also things that might make you anxious and you're looking for the truth, no matter where it could lead,
• Questions about people you'd like to date or otherwise "be with." New love is thrilling! But is he "Mister Right" or more "Mister Right Now"? (Either one is fun, but I will help you work out the best way to approach which one YOU'D rather have.)
• But also breakups and questions about whether you'd face more regret leaving or staying put. These are NOT fun to talk about with a psychic, BUT by the time we're done, I promise you that you'll see hope from what the Universe has to say to you. I NEVER tell you anything except what I actually get from the Universe, and I always show you how it is empowering to you even if it looks sad. You and I and the Universe are all in this together. Once you call me, you never have to feel alone.
Romantic love is a great prize we win for putting up with all the crap of being human. Angels get a lot of great perks —not getting hungry or ever having to find a parking space is nice, for example—but they don't get this kind of love. Call me and let's talk about it together!
One more thing: I can't help with "cold readings." A question like "Who should I pick, Robert or Luis?" with no other context is something for a medium, not a Universal Guide. You and I work together with the Tarot to answer your questions with all the fullness it requires. I'm all for games and tests like one sees on TV—we can do whatever you like with our time together, and that does sound fun!—but if you come with the serious purpose of having your future divined, we both must come ready to commit.
