I have been dabbling in my gifts my entire life. Growing up though, I was not allowed to openly practice with my gifts. This led me to do so secretly. After interpretting a dream for a family member, my gifts became more "acceptable." By word of mouth, my clientele grew, as well as branched into other areas such as oracle readings, etc.
