Advisor Interview
Ever wanted to meet your favorite advisor? Get to know her or him a bit better? From time to
time we will bring you interviews with PsychicCenter advisors. Here is where you can read how
they found out what special gifts they have, how they developed their skills, and why we think
they are so good at guiding us on our life path. If this interview inspires you, just give them
a call.
How and when did you first find out about your 'psychic abilities'?
My first conscious recollection of being psychic was around four years old when I was playing outside and talking to what I thought were other kids, but turned out to be 'imaginary' friends others couldn't see. Later I realized I wasn't vocally talking to them, but only in my mind.
How was it growing up with these special skills. Are they natural talents or did you study
and develop them?
As a child I thought that everyone had the same abilities as I did, i.e. to see energy around people and other living things. I didn't feel different from others until about eleven years old. My father trained me to work with my gifts at a very early age. He and others helped scientists and other dignitaries out of Europe. I also learned to use my abilities through what is known as 'remote viewing'. I would describe how many people were in a house from three blocks away, how many adults, men or women or children. What they were doing and which rooms they were in. I grew up thinking this was some kind of a game everyone played. When I got older I realized I was interested in things for which no one seemed to have explanations or answers. At that point I began to feel different and alone.
Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?
I do believe that everyone has the capacity to develop their psychic abilities. However, not everyone will feel comfortable developing them. Those who apply themselves will acquire accuracy with practice. For instance, if you pause before answering the telephone and sense who is calling, you will often know who it is before you hear them speak.
What type of mentality do you think it takes to develop these skills?
It requires an open mind to develop psychic skills. By this I mean the ability to calm the mind, clear the thinking process and just being still without looking for right or wrong answers. Our own experiences and opinions can color and flavor the answers. Neutrality feels like my thoughts are in the background, my feelings are quiet and still, and I am visualizing a scene or a person and the event unfolds as I am observing.
Are you able to turn your psychic abilities 'on' or 'off' when you want to? Do you have any
rituals to turn them 'on'.
Yes, I will focus on a person or situation in order to turn my psychic abilities 'on'. When I am deliberate in my focus it requires that I clear my thoughts, set aside what I am doing at the moment, and become centered within myself. Then things come to mind in a subtle way, almost like a whisper.
How did you get into doing psychic readings?
I have always given people answers to their questions. When I looked for others who were doing psychic work I found a lot of people who did not know what they were doing. I wanted people to take me seriously so I set out to research my own abilities by documenting results with my case studies. In 1972 I had an awesome experience of living in pure creative energy and as a result I decided to do my work. This has been my life, my work, and I still find it the most fascinating activity I could be doing for a living.
What happens during a psychic reading?
When I am face to face with a person, I look directly into their eyes to tune in. When I am working over the telephone, I tune in to the client's voice and that gives me the same information as if I were facing them. I get a feeling or a sense of what their inquiry is and I start talking about what I am sensing. Sometimes I hear a voice say something in the background as I am talking or sometimes I get a strong visual experience of something in the future or past, and say what I see.
What is your primary tool for divination? What is your specialty?
My primary tool for divination is my listening skill, which leads to visualization or clairaudience. I was trained to use my abilities to sense what is out of balance. I am also able to look the other way around. My specialty is past life regression/future progression. When people release something in their experience that was negative or painful, they can then claim the gift they got and release the pain. Most people hold onto pain and that keeps them in their past without an opportunity to create a bright future.
Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?
Spirits who have passed on sometimes communicate with me during a reading. Mostly, it has been spontaneous and not something I have asked them to do. One time, during a past life regression, my client's recently deceased mother came through to give the message, 'The key is in the left pocket of my tweed coat in the hall closet!' The client and I treated it lightly as inspiration. Two days later, my client called to tell me that her father came to her asking if she knew where her mother's lock box key was. She simply repeated the answer. You can imagine their surprise when they found the key. This is an example of an occasional experience not something I set out to do.
