How and when did you first find out about your 'psychic abilities'? How was it growing up with these special skills. Are they natural talents or did you study and develop them?
Growing up with psychic abilities was sometimes challenging. It was difficult to navigate through life at times always being able to read someone's energy and knowing if they were being dishonest or had a hidden agenda. It always seemed to me that so many people were living without true love in their hearts. Having that memory of a home beyond the physical home, where peace and love were so prevalent, made this particular realm feel awkward at times. It was also difficult to know when people were making such bad decisions and I would try help them, but many times, they would not listen. So yes, my abilities came pretty naturally to me. But over the course of time, I did begin to take classes to try and hone certain aspects of my gifts.
Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?
I think anyone can develop psychic skills. We're all spiritual beings, and we all have the same energetic capacity as spiritual beings to do these things. It's just that some of us are a little more aware and in tune with the higher realms and this helps to open us up more than some people. My advice for anyone wishing to develop the psychic skills, is to meditate and tune in to spirit. Taking classes is a great thing, as well as reading books. You can learn a lot from other people's experiences, but having that one-on-one time by communing with the Divine and the angels is the best way to learn what really works for you. Great inspiration can come when we are focused on the higher energies.
What type of mentality do you think it takes to develop these skills?
I think it's love, and that you desire to be close to the Divine Spirit, just for the sake of having that sacred closeness. You can't be immersed in divine love and communion with your angels and not have that experience begin to open your psychic senses. The rest just kind of comes naturally as you're guided through your intuition on where and what to study to help fine-tune your abilities. But again, I feel the most important mindset, is that of love and being humble.
Are you able to turn your psychic abilities 'on' or 'off' when you want to? Do you have any rituals to turn them 'on'.
I can tone them down, but I can never really shut them off. They're always there, just picking up on the energy of every person and place. I don't really have any particular ritual to turn them on or off, although I do a daily routine of meditation to keep them sharp. I'm not sure if any psychic can just flip a switch and just turn off their abilities. I think we just learn to ignore them sometimes so that we can just live life or have a good time without picking up on all the other stuff floating around in the atmosphere, and then start analyzing the content.
How did you get into doing psychic readings?
I was introduced to the Runes In the summer of 1994. I never really used any tools or experimented with divination until then. I was fascinated by these ancient stones and became very proficient, rather quickly, at reading them. I began to do rune readings in early 1995, and soon after that started giving Angel readings; since I had always been very close to the Angels.
What happens during a psychic reading?
For me, I like to communicate with the person a little bit on what the reading will be about. That just stems from my childhood, hearing people talk and knowing what the outcome will be. It really helps me connect with the client. I then get a very warm feeling, and have the sense of my angelic guides drawing near and forming a circle around me. I use the cards to help clarify my vision, since my clairvoyance does not work on demand as I would like it too. I am clairaudient however, and clairsentient, so I begin to hear what my guides are saying and getting strong senses through the images on the cards. And the rest, his history, as they say.
What is your primary tool for divination? What is your specialty?
My primary tools are the Tarot and also Angel cards. I am fortunate enough to own an Angel Tarot, which I read with most of the time because it is the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned. My specialty is being a certified angel channel. So pretty much everything that I say in a reading, is coming one way or another through the inspiration of my angel guides. I like to work a lot with the angels, because they help me get out of my own way and not interject my personal opinion into the reading. They also provide a lot of love energy, which is the basis for everything.
Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?
I can, but I'm more comfortable doing that with someone in person. It's a little different over the phone, and I suppose that's just because of the technique of communication that I was taught. But I'm always happy to give it a go for someone over the phone if they wish me too.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about your abilities or a good experience?
I don't have anything that I would like to say about myself per se, but if there's one thing that I would like all people to understand; it's that all psychics work in a different way. Some folks think that we all operate pretty much the same way when we do a reading. So they kind of expect a reading from one psychic to be the same as they got from another. But that's just not the case. We are all unique in our own way, as all people are. None of us would walk into a doctor's office and start the visit by telling him what medication to prescribe, or how to do his examination. All of us understand that each professional has their own way of doing things. So I would say, to get the most out of any psychic reading, find out who's reading for you. Ask questions and find out what it takes to really get them in the zone. After all, we want their gifts to be fully open when they read for us, not strained because they're being forced to do a reading in a way that is alien or uncomfortable to them. And if you're interested in developing your own psychic abilities, you'll see just what I'm talking about. There's Just a certain way that you read and open yourself up to sense the energy around you. Knowing that, will increase the good experiences in psychic readings for us all.
