Availability
There are three key actions you can take to manage your availability: setting your availability, setting your phone number and launching the Call Monitor.
You can take it a step further by setting your schedule.
Availability Status
Our Availability Manager acts like your virtual secretary, making sure you only get calls when you want them, and that when you're busy or unavailable, customers can arrange to talk to you later. The Availability Manager lets you set three different statuses. Depending on which status you set, the call button on your listing will display a different message to communicate the proper action to your customers:
  • Taking Calls: When you're by your phone ready to take calls.
  • Arrange Calls: When you need to take a break, and want to allow customers to get in line to speak with you, you can change your status to arrange a call. When you set yourself to "Taking Calls" again, these customers will be connected with you automatically.
  • Offline: When you're away and do not want customers to get in line to speak with you. For example, you are done for the day, or you go on vacation.
You can access the Availability Manager any time through My Account, or by dialing 1-877-261-6118 to manage your availability when you're away from your computer, using your phone number and PIN.
Setting Your Phone Number
You can take calls from any phone, even on the go. Most advisors have at least two phone numbers on file: their landline number and their mobile number. When you are ready to set your status to Taking Calls, make sure that you have selected the phone number that you want PsychicCenter to call you on to connect with customers.
Launching the Call Monitor
The Call Monitor is a valuable tool that alerts you to calls coming in and displays useful information about the customer that is calling you. The Call Monitor is optional, but highly recommended, when you are Taking Calls.
Setting Your Schedule
When you set a schedule, the times you plan to be available are displayed on your advisor listing page so that customers know when they can expect you to be online. This is great for business because customers can set aside time in their own schedule to speak with you at a time that's convenient for both of you. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and change it at any time.
